massage
Remedial massage is based on a deep understanding of the Anatomy and Physiology, with its aim to re-balance the musculoskeletal system by working on muscles, joints, fascia and ligaments, thus making remedial massage a very powerful yet none traumatic therapy
What to expect?
The CoreZone offers Remedial Massage Therapy and Manipulative Therapy, using Muscle Energy Techniques (MET) to skillfully restore soft tissue muscles and joints.
The precise mobilization and manipulation of joints is a natural extension of the re-balancing of the soft tissue, in turn allowing freedom of movement within the joints helping facilitate the normal function of the vascular and neural systems. The correct and balanced function of the musculoskeletal system also helps maintain other systems in the body e.g. digestion or respiration
Sessions are available as 1 hour or 30 minute sessions. It is also important that you book your treatments as far in advance as possible due to limited availability, however if it is an emergency it is possible to be added to the cancellation list.

Postural alignment therapy
Misalignment can be a result of poor body mechanics and weakened muscles. A stooped posture is a typical example of this, with the chest muscles con-caved and shoulders rounded forward, the hips are shifted forwards out of alignment.
A person with a healthy, strong spine would have a plumb line through the center of their body, landing just in front of their ankle with their chest remaining open and shoulders back with upper and lower body aligned.
Mimi can help you assess your posture, focusing on areas for improvement
